If you don't have the possibility of creating a full bells and whistles experience, an 'artefact from the future' is a simple, downsized way of bringing your audience into your future. Create something that explains the essence of the world you have created and strikes a balance between being easily understandable, but still giving a feeling of being in or from the future through unexpected details.

Ask yourself:
What is the most important message you're trying to communicate with the futures world you have been building? What's the one thing that you want your audience to reflect upon, discuss or understand? And how, then, can you build that into one or multiple future objects to really get that message across? Here are a few suggestions to kick-start your own ideas:
